Health and wellness sessions are essential to our lives because they help to discover any potential missing elements to our overall health. If you want to make remarkable life changes, these sessions are necessary to achieving goals.
You will be given a holistic, evidence-based, health and wellness education program to promote and improve healthy life choices.
I implement health and wellness programs, incorporating critical thinking to increase knowledge about the ever-changing climate of health issues.
I will discuss individual support in health and wellness or nutrition with each person who requests my services.
During this session, I will educate clients on issues related to improving general health and wellness, such as nutrition and personal training programs and train just you as an individual or you and a partner(s) together. Group training is offered as well!
Talking is healing; once we discuss the issues regarding potential areas of concern that are affecting an individual's goals, I plan and manage those items to impact necessary change in situational factors influencing health and wellness related behaviors.
I will then construct and implement a program designed to address the client's specific health and wellness needs.
With a undergraduate degree in Psychology, I will understand your feelings! There may be underlying issues you may want to tell me, such as abnormal or disturbed nutritional habits like:
o Fixation with food
o Body weight or body shame due to lack of or excessive exercise
o Deep sadness and anxiety about body type and/or expectations
o Social or cultural indoctrinations regarding “optimal” appearance
These will be carefully addressed, and I will work with you to find a suitable program that will fit your needs.
I have experienced health and wellness issues as well. Making life changes wasn't easy when I approached my 40's, but I was determined to stay off medications as I aged. Even when we feel healthy, sometimes we aren't and we don't realize it. You can prevent or correct any issues you might be having regardless of where you find yourself.
Simple, straightforward changes can make the biggest difference, and finding a supportive, guiding voice can be the therapeutic catalyst for nutritional and physical success. Be aware that your overall health and wellness is not all about what you see on the outside; it begins with what is happening on the inside
